Our Story

Ravi R. Iyer, MBBS, MD, CCAS is driven by his belief that the purpose of life is to place your talents in service of your gifts. For him, this meant using his talent for learning and intellectual curiosity to allow him to share his gift of compassion and instinctive ability to provide comfort and healing, which he continues to do as a practicing physician with more than 35 years of clinical experience.

Born in Eastern India and steeped in familial herbal medicine as a child, Dr. Iyer formally trained in Western medicine at Nalanda Medical College on the banks of the Ganges river, acquiring a doctoral degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Immunology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Dehi. From there, his quest for knowledge led him to pursue two post-doctoral research fellowships at Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center and the Children’s Hospital & Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA.
